This fits right in the trajectory extrapolated from the two existing games. As a fan of this series, I dunno about this. I think it lowers the franchise a bit, and that makes me sad![]()
I thought the exact same when I saw the trailers. Not impressed, that's for sure and this post is more like many ofthers in that its more of a PSA than something to look forward to. This was never going to be a game I was interested but I also know that I'm not a part of the target audience either. True test will be when it launches. The weirdest part is that it really does look like a mobile game but is purposely being marketed to PC and PS5. I expected a complete flop on PC, except for maybe Steam Deck and other gaming handhelds, but it might do okay on PS5 given whatever established player base exists there and the amount of mobile-style games already played on it.Honestly the videos make me think its a phone game.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha, fantastic commentary from this guy! Saying what we were all thinking about this game. Thanks for sharing that vid.
This video shares my opinion.
I've seen it as low as $20 for physical copies on PS5, but I need the price of the PC version to drop at least that low, if not lower. I've lost track of how many big-hitting PS5 games I've seen sold for $20-$30 while their PC versions are still full f*cking price. But at least on PC I have the option of "community demos"... but those are completely unnecessary if publishers would just sell their games at a decent price to begin with, or if decent sales come quickly enough (which they usually don't for Sony IPs on PC).Best thing that can come from this game is Sony dropping the price on Forbidden West to a reasonable level to gin up interest before launch.
