Calling the HKC Tianqi 43H180C an unusual beast is an understatement, but for those looking to boost productivity, it could be the perfect tool of the trade. At 43.8 inches, it already offers plenty of real estate, but what truly sets it apart is its ultrawide 4K 24:9 aspect ratio and 1000R curvature. While desktop […]

Yeah, no breath being held here.
Last time I looked at a pre launch monitor happened to be from msi, got excited enough to save money and wait, it never launched, waited over a year, nada, i got whatever Dell ( in fairness a decent one)

Too true and even though I'd really like something for the office, not likely to happen either but still, a man can dream.

This monitor is for me. This is what I want.

Will it come to the US? And what timeframe, good question, and how much?

I have been wanting a good Mini-LED display, I do not want OLED, since my PC is always on a static work display, though I do play games here also, but primariliy it's a Windows desktop. I want to move away from my edge lit LCD to something a little better, and I also want to move away from multiple displays to just one good display, for simplicity's sake. The specs did not say how many zones it had though, I wonder about that.

Anyway, i'll be keeping my eye on this one.

Yea I keep forgetting miniled still needs backlighting. Sounds like it will be nice though.

And the dang C6 and C5 42 inch displays are now over 1k and 1.2k respectively. Definitly turns me off of them. I got my C3 for 799 when I got it and am still trucking along. Data theft and all.
