no reason for nvidia to launch new cards, until & unless the price of 3gb (or 4gb/6gb) memory chips abates

AMD is an completely different boat
they desperately need a 5080 competitor
expect reveal next june (& hopefully launch in july )

other RDNA 4 cards (including 4gb 9050) to continue until launch of RDNA 6 (in 2030 ??)

Yeah, AMD's GPU division really needs to get its act together but at this point no one really seems concerned with competing in the consumer market while the AI cash cow is at work. Meanwhile, and I've only minimally posted about it, AMD has risen GPU prices and I've read in various places it will continue to do so again but they still pale in comparison to the insanity happening with NVIDIA's cards.
