CD PROJEKT RED announced its new Phantom Liberty expansion for Cyberpunk 2077 yesterday, and while that won't be released until next year, the developer has already warned fans not to expect another one.
I wouldn't be surprised if it's because of how much of the original dev team has left CDPR. I don't know the specifics but we've had a few stories on them either joining other companies or going on to form their own. I've found it a little odd that when you go to the CDPR website that there is so much focus on job opportunities instead of a focus on its games. I hope for the best for them but it is discerning to me.
I agree though, there's so much opportunity to add more to the game. Even paid DLC expansion packs would probably sell well if there was enough content in them.
