ASUS Officially Takes Over Intel NUC Product Lines

ASUS has announced that it has officially taken over Intel's Next Unit of Computing (NUC) product lines, adopting the business and responsibility of manufacturing, selling, and supporting Intel NUC 10th to 13th Gen systems. According to a press release that ASUS shared today, the company is also planning to develop new NUC systems, having licensed both hardware system designs and software from Intel. "We have decided to stop direct investment in the Next Unit of Compute (NUC) Business and pivot our strategy to enable our ecosystem partners to continue NUC innovation and growth," an Intel spokesperson said in July, confirming that it'd be leaving the NUC business.

Didn't this get covered already like a couple months ago? Did they republish the old article withe new dates to make it look fresh?
 
I think this is just the next step as before it was an announcement about the agreement but now ASUS is doing a formal PR on it now that all the contracts and whatnot have been signed.
