Insomniac Is Rumored to Release Its Wolverine Game in 2026 and Then a Venom-Based Title to Follow After

I still have my PC DVD-ROM X-Men Origins: Wolverine. It was one of, if not the best, movie tie-in games to that point. IIRC it was already in development and they just tweaked it for the film release is why it didn't suck. They will likely make it kid accessible like the spidey games. As long as we can toggle on profanity and gore I'll be happy.

Venom should target PS5&pro hardware. They can keep milking their engine and assets.

The remake or remaster I want is Hulk:Ultimate Destruction. I still fire that up on my modded OG Xbox now and then with an HDMI converter.

What about the Riddick sci fi prison escape game back in the day. That was very well done.

It was waaaaay better than the f*cking movie itself!

Aaahhh, so that's why it turned out the way it did!

Escape from Butcher Bay would be a great remake.
You mean a newer remake (after Assault on Dark Athena)?

I had been hoping for a full blown sequel to EFBB for years. I wouldn't call the new content in Assault on Dark Athena that. But yeah I'd be down for an all-new remake as well. Escape From Butcher Bay was an awesome game. Had a 64-bit executable too, not that that meant anything back then. But I remember games like that one, HL2, UT2004, and Far Cry 1 offered 64-bit versions back in those early AMD64/x86-64 days.

Anyways, I don't know what the f*ck is going on with Tigon Studios these days, I don't think Vin himself cares much about the Riddick IP, and Starbreeze is waaaaay too dang busy milking gamers pockets with the PayDay series and their massive DLC trains to be bothering with another Riddick game. So sadly I don't think a sequel or a remake is gonna happen. Would be cool if we got one though.
