  1. AMD Is Rumored to Be Prepping a New Ryzen 9000 X3D Processor Featuring 192 MB L3 Cache and 16 Cores

I kind of wonder if this new SKU will actually be part of the EPYC lineup for AM5 which will make more sense for them to release instead of a Ryzen branded part.
  2. AMD Is Rumored to Be Prepping a New Ryzen 9000 X3D Processor Featuring 192 MB L3 Cache and 16 Cores

If the price is closer to $1000 then I'll just continue buying EPYCs.
  3. AMD Is Rumored to Be Prepping a New Ryzen 9000 X3D Processor Featuring 192 MB L3 Cache and 16 Cores

I got my hopes up the last time this rumor hit the mill. Not getting my hopes up again. If it does happen then I'll be extremely happy. As this will probably be one of the best consumer chips for the work I do. Assuming the price isn't ridiculous.
  4. Anandtech’s Archives Disappear Without a Trace

I just wonder if they will actually keep the forums going or not.
  5. EA Announces Battlefield 6 Release Date, Including Pricing, New Multiplayer Game Footage, Open BETA Details, and More!

I'm sure a company that drops millions, possibly even billions on failed games can handle it.
  6. EA Announces Battlefield 6 Release Date, Including Pricing, New Multiplayer Game Footage, Open BETA Details, and More!

Just bring back Battlefield 2 with modern optimizations for modern hardware to take advantage up and a ultra ultra (yes two ultras) graphic mode for the modern hardware. Toss in a few new maps, increase the player count and expand the existing maps to accommodate the new higher player count...
  7. Did my mobo die?

The only issue is things powered by the CMOS battery being shorted. Outside of that, the chances of an unpowered board being damaged by water is nearly zero. Technically water doesn't damage electronics. Well, fresh water. Salt water can and will cause rapid corrosion.
  8. GIGABYTE Unlocks up to 35% Gaming Performance Gains with Ultra Turbo Mode Performance Boost on Its Intel Z890 Motherboards

I don't want it unless the computer has a physical turbo button on the front panel next to the power and reset switches.
  9. Specifications for NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti Leaked and Is Rumored to Release as Early as Next Month

About Nvidia? No. I care about as much as they do about us gamers. Maybe they can use their AI models to figure out what I mean.
  10. Front page links not working

I don't know if anything was changed. Didn't do anything on my end, but it worked this morning for me.
  11. Front page links not working

Tried to read the 9950x3d review and the drop down menu for the different pages didn't work. Clicking it does nothing. The numbered pages at the bottom, nothing happens when I try to click on them. I'm stuck on the first page and can't get anywhere else. Have not tried on a desktop, but my...
  12. AMD Exec Confirms Launch Date and Pricing for Ryzen 9 9950X3D and 9900X3D Processors

As I have pointed out before, my use case is very specific. It's for certain Primegrid sub-projects that have tasks that use more than 32MB L3 cache or even sub-projects that use more than 16MB of L3 cache where you could run two tasks on the same CCD if you had more than 32MB of L3. Highly...
  13. AMD Exec Confirms Launch Date and Pricing for Ryzen 9 9950X3D and 9900X3D Processors

Call me when they make a dual 3D V-Cache CCD Ryzen.
  14. AMD Says It’s Working with Partners to Get More Lower Cost RX 9070/9070 XT GPUs in Stock and Denies Claims of MSRP Being Launch-Only Pricing

I don't have a microcenter near me, but the best buy's near me are all sold out of the cheaper versions while the more expensive AIB's are still in stock.
