It is streaming first, so yes. Steam Machine affectionately known as the Gabe Cube, should be the center of the ecosystem. Stream games to your Valve devices, or play in lower quality on that device. I suspect the cube's hardware, running the custom optimized SteamOS, will punch above its weight compared to windows performance.

Obviously, your present PC will work for streaming too.
Huh that's interesting... I was kind of expecting an AMD SOC.
I was also a bit surprised when someone on AT told us about it a ways back. It probably made the most sense for the battery life and advertised use cases?
 
That may be a worthwhile setup. A frame and a gabe cube should be a lot of fun.
I had a deck for a while, something happened to it, it died, so that sucked, i had it hooked up to a monitor and all that. Meh, i may look into the gabe cube and the frame idk.
