Guy passed right by me. Maybe 10-15 Ft. away. But he didn't sign my boobs. 🤣
  2. ADHD Is to Blame for the MCU’s Current Problems, Not Superhero Fatigue, Avengers: Endgame Director Says

"There’s a big generational divide about how you consume media. There’s a generation that’s used to appointment viewing and going to a theater on a certain date to see something, but it’s aging out" Fixed- "There’s a big generational divide about great stories centered around great, relatable...
  3. New Endings and Music for Baldur’s Gate 3 Announced as Larian Confirms Development on Two New Projects: “Our Best Work Ever”

I bought at full asking in support of Larian and love seeing continued development and additional content. All included without required internet to play, $ for DLC, or DRM. This is the direction we need to get back to. Also enjoyed the heck out of it. I can't wait to see what's next!
  4. Baldur’s Gate 3 Dev Expresses Support for Games Ownership: “You Won’t Find Our Games on a Subscription Service”

I'd like to drink with Swen. Bought my copy from GoG. Diminishing trend but I'll support it when I can find it!

Not sure I'll buy but the links don't seem to work?
  6. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 SUPER Series Graphics Cards Are Rumored to Release in Stages throughout January 2024

Might actually bite, maybe? 4090's are so overpriced now and 'old' as far as the release date goes. Have a 3080ti now. If Newegg keeps their trade in program, a super 70ti or 80 maybe? Nvidia, and this is crazy, I just met you, call me maybe. 🤪
  7. Windows 12 Is Reportedly Arriving in June 2024 and Will Include Support for AI PCs and ARM Processors

Wholly agree and tis not the trend we're seeing. It's all sub based now. They're breaking in the kids to expect rentals, not ownership. We'll both die on this hill.

  9. Windows 12 Is Reportedly Arriving in June 2024 and Will Include Support for AI PCs and ARM Processors

Probably PC connected to copilot at all times. ☹️ I don't think holding out any hope of skipping versions means much anymore. Win 11 simply built on Win 10. My guess is 12 won't be different, just maybe more 'connected.' Sooner or later, it'll be required. Companies can't seem to shut off the...
  10. Disney CEO Blames Covid, Lack of Executive Oversight, and Streaming Overload for The Marvels Bombing at the Box Office: “Quantity Diluted Quality”

Or, hear me out, perhaps nobody asked for Charlie's Angels Super Power edition? These weren't characters anyone cared about. Furthermore, Larson is about as loved as COVID.

Good! Maybe we'll get back to actual movies again. Fingers crossed.
  12. AMD Ryzen 9 7900 vs Ryzen 9 7900X CPU Performance Comparison

This was excellent reading, thank you. I think I'll be in for the 7900. I just don't need the x variant. Hoping to put together summer build. Big lift from a 7700k. Thanks so much for the comparison!

  14. Ubisoft Signs Deal with Police to Tackle Toxic Gaming

In extreme cases, if they've got a credible threat, that person should be having a talk with enforcement. Lots of fearmongering here.
  15. Ubisoft Signs Deal with Police to Tackle Toxic Gaming

"Secondly, an agreement is in place so that in extreme cases, where there is a threat to life or potential serious harm spotted, staff can fast track the information to police." Erm, reading is fundamental. They're only concerned with actual threats.
  16. HyperX Introduces Its First VTuber, Himura Kuraudo “Kura”

It's important to remember when choosing between booth babes (retired sadly), Waifu, 'influencers', Funko, Pokemon, furries, and whatever the he** this is, my choice of crawling back under my rock to hide from it all wins. 😆
  17. Tesla Model S Bursts Into Flames in California, Requires 6,000 Gallons of Water to Extinguish

I'm not learned with lith-ion but maybe it's like Thermite? Maybe it can't be put out once it starts?
  18. Tesla Model S Bursts Into Flames in California, Requires 6,000 Gallons of Water to Extinguish

So, out of curiosity, I just clicked through to the Twitter feed and the fire department linked an article (or maybe instruction?) from Tesla which states to cool the battery down with water. I guess the thought is to let it cool down either by burning up or dumping thousands of gallons of water...
