  1. Memory RGB issue

That is great information to know! Hopefully it holds for you. Keep us updated on this.
  2. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 FE Overclocking

Awesome article Brent!!!!! As you stated, it really isn't all that beneficial to overclock the card for the gain that is achieved. It would also seem that the 3080FE does it's job quite well at stock settings and outperforms the 2080Ti.
  3. The FPS Reviewcast – Episode 1

No, it wasn't that it sounded funky or anything like that bro. Your voice just had kind of a distant echo to it is all. It was clear and crisp; don't get me wrong man. Just the echo sound like talking in an empty room vs a room that has a ton of furniture in it.
  4. The FPS Reviewcast – Episode 1

Well, that may be true, however for a podcast a headset mic sound fine. Did you listen to the podcast? David and Dan sounded fine. Their voices were clear and crisp. LeRoy and Paul sounded distant and they had an echo from the onboard mics or what ever they are using.
  5. The FPS Reviewcast – Episode 1

I could tell from listening to the podcast that you were also using a headset. Your voice was clear and crisp as well. I also have the Logitech G933 wireless set as well. I've also got a HyperX set. The speaker sound is much better on the HyperX and I don't know which one has the better mic.
  6. Infinity Ward Makes 250 GB SSDs Obsolete, as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Hits 246 GB Minimum Requirement

I agree here LeRoy! There is no frigging way this game should take up near 250 gigs of space. Hell, you can't even install on a 250 gig drive just for that game. 250 gig drives after format is only around 225 to 235 gig. These **** games are getting out of hand on the size.
  7. ASUS Unveils Sexy ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero Motherboard with Passive Cooling

I have to believe so as well. Heck, a couple of years ago a person could pick up a fairly top tier board in the $200 range. Now a person is looking more in the $300 to $500 range. Seems insane.
  8. The FPS Reviewcast – Episode 1

You make a good point @Peter_Brosdahl . I have also seen headsets take a powder right in the middle of a cast. It makes for a frustrating time LOL. However, if a person has a solid headset the sound through the mike is much better of course.
  9. The FPS Reviewcast – Episode 1

Ahhh, it'll get easier as time goes. I agree though, the mic's could be better. Maybe do like David and grab a set of headphones with mic. His voice was clear and didn't echo.
  10. The FPS Reviewcast – Episode 1

That was a great first podcast guys!!!!!!! @Dan_D you made some great points both in the motherboards and video card sectors. You also, of course, brought up some great points on the current and previous gen's of video cards that I believe will keep the target audiences focused on the...
  11. AMD Radeon RX 6000 Series GPUs to Support AV1 Video Codec: 50 Percent Better Compression Than H.264

I'm so looking forward to seeing a comparison between these AMD 6xxx series cards vs the Nvidia 3xxx cards!
  12. Here’s a Big List of AMD Motherboards That Already Support Ryzen 5000 (Zen 3) CPUs, and Their Required BIOSes

Awesome list of boards you compiled for that news post @Tsing !!!!!!!
  13. Zen 3 LIVE

Honestly from what I have experienced in years past, AMD didn't really have the "shortages" in their video card and processor sectors. Pretty much as you stated, the real high end chips and cards were short on launch day but was taken care of shortly there after.
  14. BIOSTAR B550MH Motherboard Review

That explains a lot @Dan_D . Hadn't really thought about the fact that other countries are behind where we are in the US and UK. Yeppers, I can relate to that fact for sure. Early "gamer" type boards from over a decade ago had issues on several boards from sub-par phases and capacitors.
  15. BIOSTAR B550MH Motherboard Review

Actually the numbers you put up compare pretty closely to the Asus Taichi B550. Fairly impressive for a sub $100 board. Only big draw back that I seen was the 8 phase VRM power design. Also an amazing feature; both PS2 plugs! Wow, most all boards from the last decade has gone with 1 or none...
  16. What is on your PC Gaming plate right now?

Golly, Skyrim is a game I haven't played in a long time. Dang, now I want to give it a shot again. LOL I been playing a little Doom Eternal and Red Dead Redemption 2. Lately I haven't been playing a ton of games though...........Hmmm, getting older and not as interested as I used to be I...
  17. EVGA Frostbite 2 Thermal Grease Review

Every dang time I see someone mention Shin Etsu I just can't help but think of a dang Shih Tzu.
  18. CORSAIR iCUE H100i ELITE CAPELLIX AIO Cooler Review

With the RGB aside, the performance wasn't what I would have expected from a Corsair AIO 240 cooler. I'd imagine it would do okay on a system with a different CPU but none the less it's performance seems to be subpar.
