  1. Outriders’ Single-Player Mode Can’t Be Paused Unless You’ve Got an NVIDIA Graphics Card

I'd have no problem with pause if you set your game privacy to Closed. The issue is people leave it Open and get upset when random people join their game even though it is a user issue.
  2. Starlink Users Report Speeds of Over 200 Mbps on Satellite Internet Service

If the latency is good I could see finally being able to ditch Comcast for this. I'm really more interested in the latency and performance in adverse conditions since those are the biggest issues with satellite.
  3. Crysis Remastered on Next-Gen Consoles Updated with Frame Rate Improvements, Classic Ascension Level

It's on sale on Xbox right now for $18. Goes for another 8 days. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/crysis-remastered/9nwq4tjkpj7b#activetab=pivot:overviewtab
  4. Sony Launches Streaming Service with Near Lossless Quality Comparable to UHD Blu-ray

80 Mbps is about the average combined bitrate of a UHD Blu-ray, so I believe them. But they can f right off with locking it down to Sony televisions. I'm sure they would get a multitude more customers if they opened it up to everybody.
  5. EA Patent Application Hints at Adaptive Difficulty System for Keeping Gamers Playing Longer

It better be optional because games where you can't turn this off piss me off. RE4, as good as it is, frustrates the hell out of me with its dynamic difficulty. I wish I could keep the highest difficulty enabled by default without needing to use a mod to do it.
  6. Halo: The Master Chief Collection’s Season 6 Launches with 100 New Tiers of Content, a Halo Online Map, and More

The update fixes a lot of things, which is far more important than the useless seasonal update. Some things people have been asking for were added in this update.
  7. Outriders’ Single-Player Mode Can’t Be Paused Unless You’ve Got an NVIDIA Graphics Card

Why? There are many games that you can't pause, even offline titles. You can't pause Dark Souls even when disconnected.
  8. BioWare Shares New Mass Effect Legendary Edition Video Comparing Graphics and Performance between Remasters and Originals

  9. Paramount Is Planning More Transformers Movies without Michael Bay

They played with my emotions at the beginning of the movie with the classic character designs. I've always hated the way they looked in the new movies. On another note, the War for Cybertron Netflix series has been pretty good so far. Chapter 2: Earthrise just came out in January. Chapter 3...
  10. Xbox Reveals Games with Gold Titles for April 2021

Ever since Game Pass came out all of the Games With Gold releases have been terrible. At least Sony still offers great games with PS+.
  11. Super Mario 3D All-Stars Is Being Discontinued Today

Nintendo has no right to complain about piracy when they pull stuff like this.
  12. New Nintendo Switch to Feature Upgraded NVIDIA Chip for DLSS Support

Tegra X1 is Maxwell-based. I think the GPU on it has 1 TFLOP/s of FP16 performance (around GTX 280 performance). The latest iteration of the Switch that is available is the X1+, though, and I can't find any info on that one other than it uses less power. Could be on a smaller or refined...
  13. LG Increasing 48-Inch OLED TV Panel Production to 1 Million Units in 2021 Due to Rising Popularity with Gamers

That is for the introductory A1. The C1 is still $1,500 just like last year's CX.
  14. MSI Plans to Increase Graphics Card Prices

MSI is the worst out of the bunch with ASUS right behind them when it comes to pricing. Glad I didn't wait for a SUPRIM. Instead I got a hybrid 3090 for $400 less. EVGA is an American-based company, so I'd rather support them anyway.
  15. Square Enix’s Project Athia Gets New Title and Trailer

Horizon Zero Dawn is an ARPG, yes. Tomb Raider is Action-Adventure.
  16. New Nintendo Switch to Feature Upgraded NVIDIA Chip for DLSS Support

If it can do DLSS, I wonder if that means it's using Xavier or some variation thereof.
  17. Sony Permanently Closing PS3, Vita, and PSP Stores This Summer

You'll still be able to download content you own, yes? If they're still serving the content to people and licenses are still good, then I don't see why they need to take away the ability to purchase. If they don't want to maintain the console storefronts anymore then just direct people to the...
  18. Samsung Launches Twelve New High-Resolution Monitors

The product pages for these do highlight productivity and creative work, even on the S6 series.
  19. Square Enix’s Project Athia Gets New Title and Trailer

I didn't know custom character creation was a requirement to be a "proper" RPG. I guess all those hundreds of games released without character creation should be referred to as a different genre.
  20. Microsoft Brings Xbox Series X|S’ Auto HDR Feature to PC Games

I have not had any issue with HDR in the past couple years. Seems most game and driver developers are following Microsoft's standard these days. The real issue now is developers either half-assing the implementation or not including HDR in their PC version despite being on their console version.
