  1. Blade Runner: Enhanced Edition Is a “Disaster” That’s Worse than the Original, Critics Say

All they had to do was make the shell of a point and click adventure using literally any existing modern day game engine and then "trace" the old assets, updating them for the new engine. All the art, design, audio and story work was already done for them. I'm willing to bet a group of high...
  2. Blade Runner: Enhanced Edition Is a “Disaster” That’s Worse than the Original, Critics Say

If they didn't have the source code why not just rebuild it in a more modern engine? It would likely give them the ability make it look more like the original by not limiting them to a janky, reversed engineered 30 year old engine. Such an extreme waste of time and resources. Sounds like they...
  3. Bitcoin Crashes below $20,000 for the First Time since Late 2020, Ethereum Mining Also No Longer Profitable for Many Miners

Let's get one thing clear, Bitcoin isn't the stock market and people treating it as such is one of the reasons it's been jacked up this past year. People are finally starting to realize that Bitcoin is here to stay and will be a dominating currency and asset in the coming years. These people are...
  4. Starfield Gets a 15-Minute Official Gameplay Reveal: Over 1,000 Planets to Explore

From what I understand, even with ID Tech mod tools, the limitations are still pretty extreme. Creation Engine tools pretty much open the engine completely and because the only games that use the engine are from Bethesda and are intended to be modded it's okay. I don't think ID Tech wants their...
  5. Starfield Gets a 15-Minute Official Gameplay Reveal: Over 1,000 Planets to Explore

Mods, A huge majority of Bethesda's fans are fans because of the modability of their games. Bethesda is, at best, an average developer with average skills. They have been lifted to godhood by the modders who turn their games into masterpieces. All their games feel very, very similar with...
  6. Starfield Gets a 15-Minute Official Gameplay Reveal: Over 1,000 Planets to Explore

Soooo... Fallout meets a mini No Man's Sky? Sounds okay to me. The space graphics look good but the planetary graphics look extremely sparse and dated and that frame rate needs serious work. Hopefully those things will be improved before release.
  7. Diablo IV: Beta Sign-Up Page Goes Live, Confirming PS5 and Xbox Series X|S Versions

Absolutely nothing, the only thing it says is that you don't like Diablo. Someone should really add the appropriate links to the sign up page other wise the article is kind of useless.
  8. GameStop Employees Are Quitting and Telling Gamers to Shop Elsewhere

While I'm sure management sucks, it always does at these stores, I'm also sure that the employees are lazy, entitled children who think they deserve $25 an hour to stand around eating edibles and jerking each other off.
  9. Netflix Shares New Teasers for Sandman, Resident Evil, Wednesday, and More for Day One of Geeked Week

Great, more reasonably interesting shows that the Netflix writers will either destroy with their woke bullshit or, if they are good, will be cancelled after the first season.
  10. Diablo Immortal Can’t Release in Select Regions Due to Loot Boxes

Who in their right mind would want a ****tier pay to win version of Diablo 3? I hope this fails hard and who ever came up with this idea no longer works anywhere in the games industry.
  11. Netflix Wants to Combat Password Sharing with $2.99 “Sub Account” Plans

I'll just start using a VPN and randomly change my location between the areas my friends and families live. At $11.99 or even $14.99 I'd be okay with this to a point but between charging $19.99 and putting out a bunch of crap of late I say ****'em.
  12. Hisense Launches 65-Inch 4K TV with AMD FreeSync Premium Support

I'd always choose two small monitors than one big one, no matter the resolution.
  13. Shoppers Complain of New Digital Fridge Doors That Play Ads before Showing What’s Inside

Every grocery store I've shopped at has signs above the freezers telling you the general content. Yes it's annoying but ****'em, I'll stand there with the doors open looking for what I want before watching their adds... unless my groceries are cheaper for having watched.
  14. Xbox Series X|S Is Microsoft’s Fastest-Selling Xbox Console Generation, According to Phil Spencer

It's amazing how "fast" you can "sell out" a console when there is only only a few thousand available a week.
  15. Spotify Delays Its Lossless HiFi Audio Tier Indefinitely

I'm thinking that it has more to do with the cost of deploying something like this right now more than anything. Spotify doesn't really need "Hi-Fi" audio because it has Rogan. Millions of people subscribe to Spotify specifically for Rogan and uses the music service as a byproduct of that so...
  16. Sony Pictures Releases New Trailer for Uncharted Film Starring Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg

Fillion is way too old to play Drake now but he would have definitely made a better Sully than Wahlberg. While I don't hate Wahlberg I think he was miss cast for this film. I think Tom will grow into the part well but he doesn't feel quite right yet.
  17. Director Destin Daniel Cretton Returning for Shang-Chi Sequel

Good news, I really enjoyed Shang-Chi.
  18. EVGA Announces X570 FTW WIFI Motherboard for AMD Ryzen Processors

Whatever. Doing what every other motherboard manufacturer did 2 years before you isn't anything to brag about... You really want to impress me? Make an X570 bored for Alder Lake!
  19. Halo Infinite Gets a Stunning New Campaign Trailer with Much Improved Visuals

I wouldn't call it stunning, it still looks extremely dated compared to other titles. I'd say its almost up to Destiny 1 standards overall with slightly better lighting in the outdoor scenes but worse indoor. I still think Halo is the most over rated video game ever.
