AMD 870X-E seems to have 44 PCIe lanes vs 48 for intel Z790 and Z890 and those can do it no problem

From what I have seen, quite a nr of X870 boards seem to have the functionality, alas, a lot of the boards also seem to lack the amount of M2 and SATA ports I would like to use unless I want to run my GPU at 8x and disable other PCIe slots on the mobo which my soundcard needs. X670 boards seem...

Is it me or do all these X870 Mob's have very limited Storage capabilities? I'm looking for something that allows 4 x M.2 and 4 x SATA ports without gimping the GPU or other PCIe slots, do those even exists?

So who has any experience with these mobo's that you can flash without CPU installed? If I go the 9800X3D route I need to get it working too. Atm mostly leaning rowards Gigabyte > Asus > Asrock/MSI but Gigabyte's seems spotty at best.

Would help if developpers would better optimize their games for the PC hardware like they do for consoles, should allow for some decent increases id they would say push everything they can out of the combo 14900K/RTX4090 but that's a llot of work for not much return so they don't do that.

not competing in high end does not mean you can't compete (or try to) in low or mid. If they can sell at good price/performance they can still make tons of money.
