Its certainly not that simple. A design has to have a significant amount of re-work (read cost) before it can be produced on a different process (even between similar process/nodes from different vendors). You cant just take something that was Samsung 8nm and copy paste it to TSMC 7nm w/o alot...

AMD makes standard and dense versions of their chiplets for cpu cores, the rumors are that they may make hybrids with mixed chiplets that combine standard, dense, and GPU chiplets on a single substrate (possibly other things as wells like FPGA and AI accelerators).

The rumor mill suggests this is not like Intel's P and E cores in many ways. Rumors I have seen suggest that both cores support the same ISA (Intels don't) and as you mentioned both cores support hyper threading. The support of the same ISA is a non-trivial part of the performance challenges...

I think it was the sound mixing. The only reason I couldn't hear an actor was the stupid amount of bass when people were speaking. I mean way way way too much base when it was like a court scene or stressful conversation.

Im sad about this. Ill have to make sure to pick one up before they are gone. I like the small form factor with associated low cost. Never was interested in the high end ones that cost as much as a full blown PC.

@Uvilla I do agree here. This would allow some additional simplicity and reduced complexity which will get good for the old x86.

A significant number of games will never be 64 bit, and alot of people still like to play those. However, it sounds like an alternate mode of 32-bit support would still be available.

The real issue to me, is the world and back story. The actual cyberpunk universe is a rich story to be tapped. I love the cyberpunk universe.
