Crysis Remastered Trilogy 65% off on GOG for $17.31

It'll probably be back, my guess is maybe the spring sales.

Intel Will Officially Debut Its Panther Lake Core Ultra 3 Processors at CES 2026

Recently bought a laptop with a Core Ultra 275HX paired with the mobile RTX 5090 (aka RTX 5080 w/ 24 GB) and very, very, impressed with it so far. However, I of course, did some research beforehand and folks were complaining that the memory was not running at advertised speeds. Wasn't overly...

    9850X3D speculation

Well, the good news is that I've no intention of overclocking anything on this laptop. It's spec'd to be more powerful than my needs, so I can run it in balanced mode and enjoy those benefits. As far as masochistic behavior goes, I have other ways to torture myself between work, family, and...

NVIDIA Driver 591.44 Boosts Black Myth: Wukong Performance by up to 88%

Yeah, I find it odd to. Too many factors to consider for sure to be certain why also. Yep, a weird reality to live in.

The more you know - thermal paste edition

I used to use the razor method as well but after seeing the results in person from "x", I'm done with that. Also tried the putting it down in a spiral which was overkill for sure.

    9850X3D speculation

Hadn't heard about that, see what you did, now you have me worried. However, so far the laptop has been a champ with all the testing I've done.

Lenovo Is Said to Unveil a Gaming Laptop Featuring a 21:9 Rollable Display, RTX 50 Series GPU And Panther Lake CPU

I sort of like the idea of an expandable laptop display but it all comes down to specs and its longevity. Sure 21:9 could be really cool but if the panel specs are crap it doesn't matter. I also think they should be a bit bigger as going from 14" to 16.7" isn't all that impressive to me but I do...

    9850X3D speculation

Forgot to mention got a couple of other collector's items as well, EVGA 3090 TI Liquid Cooled Edition, basically just a step below the Kingpin model but I've also got an air cooled model, and then MSI's 4090 liquid cooled model, more-or-less the last affordable top tier RTX version.

    9850X3D speculation

Yep, I've already been jokingly calling them collectors items. However small, I think there's a chance Crucial will make a comeback once the AI demand wears down and Micron has to find profits elsewhere again. Might be years though but I can already envision the marketing, "Back by popular...

    9850X3D speculation

Well those are 48 GB kits but still, yep, about what I was expecting. I got a new laptop on BF that I'll be paying off until Summer, but very happy with and for laughs I looked up the kit that's it in. Crucial, of course, 2x 32 GB 5600 MT/s DDR5 sticks, that same 64 GB kit on Newegg is going...

    9850X3D speculation

What I want to know, and sure I could try searching, is how much a 32 GB 9800 MT/s kit costs? I've got a feeling it's probably close to the same as the processor.

Buyout Deal Worth $82 Billion Could See Netflix Gain Access to Warner Bros. Game IPs Such as Batman, Harry Potter, and Mortal Kombat

I basically give Netflix's offer a snowball's chance you no where in succeeding, regardless of if they come up with a counter offer. In order to avoid breaking our rule on politics all I can say is the deck is heavily stacked against them. For those not in the know, research who currently owns...

NVIDIA Driver 591.44 Boosts Black Myth: Wukong Performance by up to 88%

I'd watch out for the early 2025 drivers. I got lucky and no problems for me but it seems like most folks were still having issues up until around August or so.

NVIDIA Driver 591.44 Boosts Black Myth: Wukong Performance by up to 88%

So far I've only heard good things about them but I couldn't really say in regard to an older card. The majority of the positive claims seem to involve newer 50 series which had its own share of bad drivers throughout the year.
