I agree. I think it's a good value at the $549 MSRP. The OC cards at $580-590 become less of a value. Might as well spend the extra $20-40 for the full blown 9070.

It trades blows with the 5070, according to J2C's charts. Could argue the 5070 will have better RT performance and definitely a better encoder.

They make water blocks for reference PCB's. Most of the low cost 5080's and 5090's are based on reference board design.

Know what I want? An aftermarket AIO for my GPU. Why no one makes them I don't understand. Like if someone has a 5080 or 5090 (reference PCB) and just wants to add an AIO to it you'd think that would be an option.

Sounds like they are using binned silicon that didn't meet 9060XT specs due to the drastically lower clock speeds. And a 128 bit memory bus. Doubtful these will come anywhere near close to 9060XT performance, even if flashed.

My HiSense U8 has 5000 peak brightness and it's too bright in some situations. Can't imagine 11,000 nits.

It's still a very relevant and capable gaming CPU. And AM4 is still widely in use.

How often? Quite often. I've only subscribed for 4 months now and there are about 20 AAA games on there that I already own on steam, and about 20 more I would consider buying. You can look for yourself in the MS Store app. It's no hidden paywalled secret.
