  1. MSI GeForce RTX 4080 16GB GAMING X TRIO Video Card Review

I bought the 4080 16GB VENTUS 3X OC from BB, getting it next week. I'm lazy, and dont feel like upgrading my PSU for a 4090. I have a SFF setup and when I get a new PSU I'd like it to be 12VHPWR ready. Not many of those around yet. I'll re-think the 4090 option when the time comes, if needed...

  8. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series Graphics Cards Expected to Launch Sooner than Expected, Will Be Built on TSMC’s 5-Nanometer Process

Depends on the game right? I always expect AAA titles that are released after the launch of a new GPU series to challenge the hardware, sometimes bringing it to it's knees. Part of the fun isnt it? :)

  10. AMD Continues to Lose Graphics Card Market Share to NVIDIA

Nvidia has been offering more for your money for a while now. It's easy to belittle their drive to innovate as marketing fluff or whatever but reality is they are ahead of AMD and probably will be for quite a while. As Dan suggests, at MSRP there is no reason to go AMD.

Well I'm partial to DLSS as I think it's a good solution so I'm ok with that.
  16. XeSS: Intel Demonstrates Its NVIDIA DLSS and AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution Competitor

Intel could absolutely not afford to have a proprietary solution on their GPU's at launch. It has to work on everything out there made in the last say 2 years or so. This might be the end of DLSS. Or maybe not. Time will tell. I hope not, I like DLSS and I think it could have a lot to give yet.
