Different tech. MicroLED is a full LED panel. Yes, once they get these things small enough they'll replace OLED. What they're doing here with microled's is using them as backlighting. Just a super dense full array of RGB lighting for even more contrast control.

The only thing it's done is create a very frustrating situation for a lot of potential customers. There are already full blown cheats for BF6 working on the beta.

I don't think it would step on any Threadripper toes. They're not designed for gaming. They don't do well gaming, they're productivity CPU's. A 16/32 X3D CPU, so long as they can figure out the scheduler, should be a beast at gaming. I just don't see how they'll deal with cross CCD latency.

I guess if you game at 4K then 16 GB could be a limiting factor in "some" scenarios. I've yet to even come close to maxing VRAM usage at 1440P on my 5080. Everything I've seen point to this "Super" refresh as just adding VRAM and a slight boost clock increase. My card overclocks like a champ...

It's the same in PUBG and COD. You can buy all the skins you want, they have zero effect on the weapons themselves. No weapons can be purchased, all are available via gameplay.

Invite for a beta if you pre-ordered. I'm not giving them my money this early. Besides, all I'm really interested in is the BR, which they've said will be free to play.

They'll never do a simultaneous PC release of a PS exclusive AAA title. It drives sales of the consoles. Once that's dried up they'll release it for PC.

They are supposed to introduce a BR in BF6. I'm interested in how that will turn out.

Console's will never compete with modern high end GPU's. They've always used software trickery to get them to run at certain resolutions and frame rates. They can't pack that much power in to a small package without it causing issues thermally or power wise.

AM4 is still really popular. 56/7/800X3D are still selling quite well. Still a large market for DDR4.

I feel like they have a design for it already. They've just been slowly dipping their toes in to the water. The B580 is a bargain for 1080 gaming.

Also Nvidia's NVENC encoder is simply worlds better than anything AMD has put out. And when everyone wants to be a streamer on Twitch/YT/Kick/Rumble even the mid-tier Nvidia cards are just better at it.

side and bottom are intakes, with the side being reverse blade. I would have bought reverse blade for the bottom but I bought the last 3 that MC had. Top and rear are exhaust.

I just built with this board. So far no problems. Very easy to setup. Regularly seeing my 9800X3D boost to 5.4 Ghz.
