So I have to limit my Sapphire 7900xtx nitro+ from overboosting the front end clocks by actually NOT letting the card go any higher than 400watts. At 400watts power limit the front end clock goes to 3.2ghz but no higher and that is stable but if I give it the 15% extra power limit the card immediately goes to 3.5ghz front end clock and that is IN NO WAY STABLE for a chip designed to at least 1ghz lower than that for normal retail. Sadly, this limits how high the shader clock can go since the two clocks appear to not DIRECTLY work together, I have to limit the GPU/Shader clock to 3ghz so the front end clock wont go above 3.265ghz.
