AMD’s automatic overclocking feature for Ryzen processors has gotten even better. In a new slide deck released today, the company detailed Precision Boost Overdrive 2, which improves upon the original’s feature set by boosting not only multi-threaded workloads, but single-threaded workloads as well. It also adds undervolting for improved performance per watt and a potential reduction in operating temperatures.
