Yeah, the Xtreme Waterforce version for the 40090 was hard to find, but it didn't matter as much to me since its MSRP was $1,999 which was $400 more than an FE, unlike MSIs Suprim which was only $150 more. ASUS also did theirs but they were the most unobtainium ($600 more ROG Strix LC and a whopping $1600 more for the ROG Matrix which is double that of an FE) of them all, and most expensive MSRP. These prices are before scalping increases.
The advantage that the GIGABYTE and ASUS models offered was more power to the GPU but the OC headroom was so close it didn't really matter much. I did a lot of research on these to find that out as it gets very difficult to source from the manufacturers and the GPUs themselves are often power-starved when OCing, especially if pushing memory to its max speeds. It'll be interesting to see what happens with the AIB cards this round with only 25W to spare on the one connector.
