The Ryzen 7 9800X3D, the first in what will presumably be a handful of new desktop processors from AMD that pair Zen 5 cores with 3D V-Cache technology for improved gaming performance, will cost $484 when it releases on November 7, according to an early retail listing for the CPU that has surfaced online.

Ouch, if the rumors of a 11% performance jump over the 7800X3d chips is true. $366 on NE back in August and now $479 in the few places its available.

Since I play at 4K I really don't think I'd see that 11% increase over my 7800X3D.

Coming from a 7800X3D @4K I totally agree but I have a feeling I'll notice it a bit more of a difference coming from my 5800X3D but my plan is to wait until next fall to snag this or a 9900X3D/9950X3D, depending on the pricepoints, and performance reviews.
