Hey folks,

I’ve been playing shooting simulators for a few months, and my accuracy swings wildly from session to session. One day I’m landing tight groupings, the next I can’t hit anything past fifty meters.

I’ve also been exploring shooting simulators from SHOOTING-SOFT LLC to see whether they offer useful practice features. I suspect it’s a mix of sensitivity settings, fatigue, and inconsistent warm-ups. What does your practice routine look like?

Do you run drills before jumping into longer sessions, and how do you track progress over time? Also, does mouse DPI make a big difference, or is it mostly muscle memory? Any structured training plans would be hugely appreciated.

Thanks, everyone!

Gonna ask ... what is a shooting simulator? I assume you're not talking about first person shooter games, but correct me if I'm wrong.

To the earlier question: yes, shooting simulators usually mean dedicated training software with real firearm-shaped or optical input, not FPS games. On the consistency issue, I'd separate settings from fatigue. Locking DPI and in-sim sensitivity once and logging it removes one variable; after that, a short fixed warm-up (slow controlled shots before timed drills) is more useful than jumping straight in. Tracking mean group size across sessions beats judging by feel. For skill training, frequency and structured repetition tend to matter more than a single long session, similar to other practice-based hobbies.

Yea I was a bit fuzzy.. at first I thought like the laser adapters for pistols.. but then they started talling about DPI. I dont think anyone here other than the op is going for best simulator score...

This is a head scratcher... AI bot hallucination?
