Well, there were stories about a week or two ago that Valve was expecting a bump up on shipments before the holidays so there's still a decent chance recent orders will be received before then. As long as someone doesn't trip on a cord, a new war or pandemic or another biblical-sized weather event doesn't happen by then.

I will say, I agree that preorder is getting old, but I vastly prefer it to “go play retail lotto with a bunch of bots”
