The Beosystem 9000c, a recreated, replayed, and reborn version of the original CD changer from Bang & Olufsen that is said to feature all of the elegance and power of the original, but rebuilt from the ground up and paired with modern hardware, including Beolab 28 speakers, will be available exclusivelyat Bang & Olufsen stores in Europe, USA, and other select regions from April 24 for $55,000, the company has announced.

I can think of a lot better was to spend $55,000 on **** I don't need.
 
It holds.... 6 CDs. 6 CDs. For $55k. Surely something got lost in an exchange rate calculation somewhere.
 
I know people who spent less money on performance cars. This can't be the real price. It's a typo or something.
 
Just wait - vinyl has it's resurgence now. CDs will get their time soon! THen think about how smart this purchase will seem when your basking in the warmth and glow of your 44kHz sampled digital audio!
