I totally agree. I know not everyone here liked it as much but I really enjoyed it and have re-watched it at least 3 or 4 times already.Rogue One was the last good Star Wars movie. Make more like that.

I like how (spoiler alert) everyone died in the end so no sequels....Rogue One was the last good Star Wars movie. Make more like that.

Of all the latest SW films Rogue One is my favorite.I totally agree. I know not everyone here liked it as much but I really enjoyed it and have re-watched it at least 3 or 4 times already.
SOLO is the only SW film I didn't watch at the movies. I took months to watch it in D+.I had really high hopes for Solo with Ron Howard, but... nope, it was just a phoned-in paycheck.
I agree that Rogue One has been the best of the Disney era - but I think it works best exactly because it fits directly in line with what was already out there. There was no new lore or issues with cannon or what not. We all knew exactly what was going to happen going in, and it was just a decent story that filled in a few gaps in what we otherwise already knew had happened.
That was my least favorite, and I really wanted to like it. It just doesn't feel like a SW movie to me. More like some kind of weird TV heist movie.Too bad SOLO killed SW Stories.
You could say the same for rogue one ;pMore like some kind of weird TV heist movie.
I suppose but to me, it seemed like a more concerted effort in creating an actual story. I thought Solo seemed too much like patchwork episodic excerpts that were hobbled together instead of some kind of organized scene-building progression. It's weird, I can watch each scene and be okay with it but as a whole, I did not enjoy it. Just too convoluted. You could say the same for rogue one ;p
This is incredibly accurate, and something I hadn't considered. A 10 episode series translation of the Solo plot would have worked much better than the single movie did.It just occurred to me that it (Solo) probably would've been better off as a Disney+ series instead of a movie. Ironic considering Rogue One>Andor.

TLJ is also at the bottom of the list for me but I loved the part with Benecio's character. I think a spinoff for his character could be fun and hilarious.

I agree but I thought it was more interesting than the rest of the movie .Really? I found it a boring character and added nothing to the story.
Yeaaaaah... nopeI agree but I thought it was more interesting than the rest of the movie .
You see, at this point, I'm sick of things trying to rely on canon w/o delving into what else has been going on and I think his character could've been a great launch pad for one such story. I'm not saying there haven't been attempts to do so, just that I would've liked to have seen more there.
