Twelve of Denon and Marantz’s HDMI 2.1 receivers are affected by a compatibility issue that prevents them from properly passing 4K/120 Hz and 8K/60 Hz content from Microsoft’s flagship console, the Xbox Series X. A fix has now arrived in the form of an HDMI adapter kit called the SPK618, which corrects the problem by delivering corrected HDMI data to the receivers.
