That's not quite so easy but a nice thought.Just bring back Battlefield 2 with modern optimizations for modern hardware to take advantage up and a ultra ultra (yes two ultras) graphic mode for the modern hardware. Toss in a few new maps, increase the player count and expand the existing maps to accommodate the new higher player count.
Then release a dedicated server version and they can sit back and relax while I play.
That's not quite so easy but a nice thought. The engine backend would require a bit of tweaking to do that well and not have poor memory management and resource utilization.
They previously had 'loot boxes', but you'd earn them pretty quick by playing the game - and they're mostly cosmetic IIRC across the last four games or so.Battlefield is already invaded with 'microtransactions' right. In that case eff them.
It's the same in PUBG and COD. You can buy all the skins you want, they have zero effect on the weapons themselves. No weapons can be purchased, all are available via gameplay. They previously had 'loot boxes', but you'd earn them pretty quick by playing the game - and they're mostly cosmetic IIRC across the last four games or so.
And in Battlefield, all guns kill, even the 'beginner' ones. I never considered loot boxes to be much of an issue, just a money sink for the otherwise impatient.
