I'm not sure on that either and wondered the same. Seemed like a general statement to me as well but maybe they do.

As long as they support FSR 3.1 they can support FSR 4 via the driver control panel option being enabled.

Given the current state of things regarding a lack of new GPU releases due to the ongoing chip shortage, it’s nice to see AMD finding ways to help owners of its older cards get more gaming performance.

Actually, a performance DECREASE is most likely; whether the IQ increase is worth it is yet to be seen.

I mean ostensibly the best card AMD has for consumers is the 7900xtx... Nice that they are giving support for these methods to their consumers running those cards. Like me.
