Futurama Revival at Hulu Sets July 24 Premiere Date

Hulu has announced that Futurama will return on Monday, July 24 following what the Disney-owned streamer has joked as being a "brief" 10-year hiatus for Matt Groening's classic series set in a futuristic New York at the turn of the 31st century. John DiMaggio, Billy West, Katey Sagal, Tress MacNeille, Maurice LaMarche, Lauren Torn, Phil LaMarr, and David Herman have all returned to voice their characters, and while the new season comprises 10 episodes, there should be at least one more, with Hulu having ordered 20 new episodes back in February 2022. A synopsis can confirm that the revival series will resolve some major plot points, such as the relationship between Fry and Leela, while a teaser shows off the animation style that Futurama fans have come to love.

Cool. I don't love that it's going to be weekly episodes on Hulu... I would rather get them all in one shot and binge it out. But just happy to get new ones.... I hope the writing stays as sharp as it has been.
