GameStop Purges Game Informer Account after Former Staff Member Shares Proper Farewell for 33-Year-Old Publication

GameStop, the retailer best known for its selection of video games and, more recently, laying off the entire staff of what was Game Informer without any prior notice, has no intention of ending its relationship with the magazine's former staff on a good note, according to an archived tweet that shows how Game Informer's official X account was temporarily revived by a former staffer who wanted to share a proper farewell for the 33-year-old publication, but was immediately closed and deleted after GameStop got wind of it.
