Sorry, GTA fans but Rockstar Games has announced that the release date for Grand Theft Auto VI is going to be a bit further out.

Probably. 2 year cadence is somewhat norm these days for console ports but a part of me wonders if this time will be different.Ao PC is now what April 2028?
They need another decade of delays to get close. lolGrand Theft Auto VI - The Star Citizen Edition!
I'd rather not play a game than pay $80 for the standard edition, I haven't even paid $70 yet. No, thanks.Give more time for that $80 price point to sink in, so when GTA6 comes out at $100 it seems more normal
D4mn straight dawg.I'd rather not play a game than pay $80 for the standard edition, I haven't even paid $70 yet. No, thanks.
By the time the PC version is out it will come down in price either way, or if not: It's their loss, literally.D4mn straight dawg.
I think GTA is overrated, not to say that they are bad games, far from it, but they were just no-nonsense action games. Ironically it is exactly this fun that they started dismantling since GTAIV, by shifting the tone to be more serious. I felt GTAV was already taking itself too seriously for its own good, and GTA6 will probably double down on this direction. And this is why my outlook is more pessimistic than optimistic about it, and this is why I'm not really bothered by the delay.I don't believe I've paid $80 for standard, yet, that I can remember anyway but I know I've paid that for something that included a season pass. Although I've tried to get into the GTA games, decades now, I've never finished even one so I'll probably just stick to watching videos about this one when it comes out.
V didn't get good until it hit PC and the modding started.I think GTA is overrated, not to say that they are bad games, far from it, but they were just no-nonsense action games. I'm really not convinced that it is a must have at all costs game.
