As Hogwarts Legacy arrives on the older consoles the game has received its latest patch for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It adds a new mode and a staggering amount of fixes. The new Arachnophobia Mode can be found in the accessibility options. It employs tricks seen in the movies to alleviate the fear of spiders by giving them roller skates while also removing certain sounds and visuals from the game. Avalanche Software has stated the collision detection remains intact with the removed visuals to ensure players do not unexpectedly stuck.

The developer describes the latest patch as addressing "overall gameplay experience and stability improvements." This is an understatement, to say the least as the patch notes contain over 500 fixes. Clearly, the team has been listening to the community and is hard at work in polishing up the game. A new Professor Ronen-themed cosmetic gear has also been added to the game. A couple of items to note for PC users are that all three upscalers (DLSS, FSR, and XeSS) have been updated to their latest versions and XeSS has been set as the default for Intel Arch graphics cards.

Wow nice to see all the work going in. Just means the engine for the second one is getting better and better.

I still think they should do a release for each school of magic where you can hopefully bring your character to experience it.
