Intel’s Comet Lake-S processors only hit the scene this week, but AMD may have stolen what’s left of their thunder in one swift move. Current retail listings suggest that the company has reduced the pricing for its Ryzen 9 3900X chips to $430 or lower – a substantial discount from their original $500 MSRP. This is pretty bad news for Intel’s flagship Core i9-10900K and Core i7-10700K, which are going for over $500 and $400, respectively.

At $389, you'd have to be a super hard core gamer that does nothing else with their machine to buy a Core i9-10900K over the Ryzen 9 3900X.
 
Wow.. can one of you guys buy me one and I'll give you my 3700x!
 
My only problem with buying a 3900X right now is the lack of motherboards. Hopefully that changes sooner than later. I know AMD stating the lower end boards supporting next gen processors helps, but I would still want a X570 board if I was making a new build.
