Kingdom Hearts Movie Reportedly in Development Disney

Kingdom Hearts, Square Enix's series of action RPGs that features many of Disney's most popular characters, including Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy, is getting the feature film treatment, according to a recent mailbag update from The DisInsider.

It made for a decent game, not sure it will make a good movie.

I think it could work but it has to check all the right boxes off. Mario mostly did that which is why it was a success but while not a fluke its far from the norm.
