there is a daniel owen comparison of 8gb vs 16gb 5060 ti where he shows how a dialed down 8gb compares vs a maxxed out 16gb

short answer — if you have the budget then 16gb (or the new 12gb super) will give you peace of mind

if you fall short of budget & condemned to buy 8gb then you'll have to turn down settings and compare stutter free experience at low quality vs stuttery experience with all the bells & whistles probably for every new game

@Brent_Justice did a review for us as well with the 5060 Ti, I linked to it in this post.

It's nuts to me that we're getting a refresh and all they're doing is upping the RAM in most cases.

So basically 0 performance increase but huge price increase in all cases. Somehow this comes off less as a gift to gamers as it does a gift to small fry AI Farms.

Time for $899 5070s, $1399 5070tis, and $1999 5080s...

I guess the 5090 will remain the 5090. I dont see a retail card with more than 32gb of vram... not in the current market.

What else would they up? These have been planned since the beginning of the 50-series.

Also where are you getting pricing information?

- From up my *** and under my balls.

Also projecting based on current card and ram pricing.
