LIAN LI Launches SP and SX Platinum SFX Series PSUs with 80 PLUS Platinum Certification

Like... 20 years ago, Lian Li was awesome.

Today.. not sure I'd go there. They compromised their "all aluminum" case principle chasing budget build dollars trying to capitalize on the brand name. They still have some decent products, but it's not a brand name that you can universally associate with "Quality" any longer.

And because of that... not sure I'd trust a PSU with their brand name -- is this another case of slapping their name on some crap PSU? Even if it's not, not sure I am even willing to take the chance when I could just go buy something solid for about the same price and not even have to worry about the issue.
 
I have the lan li edge 1300 watt platinum. Power supply. So far so good. Put one in a buddies build too.

I have some of their fans RGB die on me, got them warranty replaced without much hassle, did not even have to return the defective ones so at least their RMA service is good for what it's worth.
