Microsoft Partners with GPU Manufacturers to Bring “Groundbreaking Performance Improvements” with DirectX Raytracing 1.2

I find these kinda things very cool, I like that RT Shader Re-Ordering is finally part of the spec, NVIDIA introduced that a while ago in hardware, but it is only being added now to the direct-x pipeline. It sounds like some good improvements to Path Tracing, I'm looking forward to seeing what Neural rendering technologies will do for RT, especially denoising.
 
That and making it part.of the standard makes it more likely everyone will get.onboard with it.
