Do these use the new RGB Stripe subpixel layout? I wouldn't even get an OLED today unless it had this new technology, since productivity is important in my workload.

I noticed it said 4th Gen OLED, I wasn't sure if that automatically means it uses the new layout or not.

Those are excruciatingly rare, unfortunately. I assume that they weren't made that way from the gorram beginning because it's hard to pull off with current OLED tech, and comes with disadvantages probably in terms of the brightness vs. panel life / burn-in tradeoff.

For now, the best bet is to just get something that you're going to run at 150% scaling, which fixes the text problem for the vast majority. I'm looking at LGs new 5k2k panel in 39", once Dell puts it in an Alienware (LGs monitor support and Q/C is laughable except when compared to the likes of Samsung and ASUS).
