If you can find drivers you can put any OS you want on apple hardware as well. It might run like crap but you can. Steam deck is MORE open in that regard but what I mean is their OS and environment are written to best utilize a limited hardware spec. Same as Apple does.I don't know if I consider it to be Apple-like when Steam Deck is an open PC platform where I can run any OS and software I wish on it. I get what you mean though.
