NVIDIA’s ARM Acquisition Is Under Investigation by the FTC

It appears that NVIDIA is about to undergo some serious scrutiny for its intent to acquire world-renowned British semiconductor and software design company Arm. According to a report by The Telegraph, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has asked CEO Jensen Huang and co. to hand over documents related to the deal for what is said to be an intense, months-long investigation.

Seems routine to me.. not everything is nefarious.
The place to watch is China regulators and some such.

The Dell EMC merger was investigated by the FTC as well. It still went through. They will have to spin off some small segments of each company to appease the regulators. Then as they don't do as well on their own (by design) purchase them back and re integrate them into the business. Done within 2 years. Watch.
