NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang made a trip to TSMC headquarters in Taiwan, where it was confirmed that its Blackwell successor was in early testing.

I mean duh? Could you imagine if the successor wasn't in development before the current was out? What do you just give all of your development engineers a quarter or two off to chill and come back? No, sure they might stack up some vacations but development continues.

I just don't see how it's news other than Mr. Huang saying something obvious that now that his company has eclipsed 4 trillion in value everyone says... "Oh gee wow... how innovative!"

I dislike their habit of referring to rather different architectures by the same name.

Also- for the CGPU's, wonder if they'll drop 12HPWR for a better solution.
 
RGT mentioned of a 5060 super 12gb with tentative launch msrp of $350

But recent leaks have not mentioned that card. Maybe it's low down the pecking order & another 6 to 9 months away 🤔

I mean... if you're designing an office building your architecting an office building... No different for GPU's... right?

Kidding I know there's all different styles of Architecture. I was being silly.
