I hope game studios soon realize it's no longer practical to target high end GPUs, especially from Nvidia and start focusing more on gameplay rather than DLSS fakery. Why put in all the effort when only like max 10% of the gaming population is going to see the Ultra quality end result?

HEY!! Watch it bub!!! But seriously a game as long as it runs well and looks good can be on a potato for all I care. A game should be built to run well at each resolution tier targeting that same tier of gpu.

1080p. 5060, 9050 or whatever.

1440p 5070/ti or 9070

4k. 5080/ti or 7900xtx

And then gravy on top of that.

If you got a 5060 even ti and are in the doldrums because it can't drive your 4k or greater display at 75 or or better hz then the problem is you got more monitor than you can game on with all bells and whistles. Time to tune it down to Xbox levels of fidelity and you'll be fine.

Thats like bitching when your ford fiesta can't get under 8 min at the nurburgring when all you've done to it is a paint job and new stereo.

Stop listening to crappy influencers and play your game until you have big boy adult money then get what you want.
