NVIDIA is planning to release GeForce RTX 4090, GeForce RTX 4080, and GeForce RTX 4070 laptop GPUs, according to new listings spotted by @momomo_us that suggest some of the first gaming laptops that will leverage the power of green team's new Ada Lovelace architecture are those in the OMEN 17 series.

We all saw this coming. So if you want a 3080 laptop they will continue to plummet in price.
I saw some o.k. deals during BF. I think I saw a 3080 Ti for ~$2K and a few 3080s for ~$1500-$1700. I'm not in the market for one but was still surprised. It was only a couple of years ago that a 3080 Ti was an easy $3-$4k. I'm sure by summer those prices will plummet even further once these roll out.

My goal is to hold off on another laptop until the cooling is dialed in. Performance wise they (mid-to-high-end) are already at the desktop level but mine (MSI GP77 Leopard w/ 3070 130w variant) sounds like a drone once the fans ramp up. The 11800H (8C/16T) in it is a beast but runs way too hot for my tastes (80-92c @ 4125-4400 MHz). It is a total champ at 1080P and UW 1080P avg 70-110+ FPS w/ max settings for most games using RT and DLSS quality.

However, I'd love to see the benchmarks for the mobile 4090 in action, especially at 4K, but I'd also want one in an 18.4" setup. Mine is 15.6" (the first I ever tried and definitely too small) but I recently got a portable 17.3" for it that is decent. I have an old MSI Titan 18.4" and it is so nice having a screen like that with a laptop.

I don't remember all the specs of my laptop it's that old, do know it has a gtx 880 in there. Don't use it enough to get a new one, but maybe one day.
