The GeForce RTX 5080, a new high-end GPU for gamers and creators based on NVIDIA's new "Blackwell" architecture, is scheduled to launch on Tuesday, January 21, around two weeks after its official unveiling by green team, according to new rumors that have been shared online.

Well if that price is correct it's less than the guessed price of 1580 some were calling out. so that gives me hope the 5090 will be around 2k not 2600.

So in Europe something like 2k € for the 5080 and 3k ish € for the 5090 (or your firstborn child?)

By the time all the factors are brought into play here in the U.S., those prices will be the same here.

Starting to think I might be off somewhat as there are 4090's that go for 3k+ atm
I know what you mean. I paid MSRP+Tax for my 4090 Liquid Suprim X and that came to $2K at the time. It's been an incredible card btw.

I forgot to mention that was close to when it released two years ago.

I wouldn't expect either card to release in any kind of high volume at first. They'll be hens teeth for at least 3-4 months and scalped for stupid money.

I won't be a buyer immediately anyways as I'll need a waterblock, which typically don't show up for a few months after release. I'm sure there will be one supplier making a block at launch, but again they'll be OOS as soon as they drop.

Looks like the final MSRP for 5080 is $1,000. 5090 is $2000. 5070 Ti is $750. 5070 is $550.

EDIT:

Sooooo, $1300-1400 for the 5080 after AIB markup, $2300-2400 for the 5090, so on and so forth.

We still don't know what our "tariff" prices will be but also, only those lucky enough to be near a Microcenter are likely to be able to get these at MSRP while the rest will either have to go w/o or pay scalper prices. Pretty sure there are folks out there already taking out loans so they can get a return on their "investments".

Well my go to shop has gone out of business a couple months ago (could not compete anymore with the big players) so that's a reputable shop less, the other oine I tend to use do the scalping themselves for high demand stuff (like the 9800X3D).

Mzy hzve to go straight from Nvidia 5080 is starting from 1190€ there the 5090 2369€.
