The cat has been out of the bag for weeks now that NVIDIA is reportedly planning a GeForce RTX 40 series refresh but there could be more changes happening. According to a post from Board Channels (via VideoCardz), NVIDIA is reportedly halting mass production of its GeForce RTX 4070 Ti and RTX 4080 graphics cards. The post also states that the final shipments of these cards, from NVIDIA to its partners, have been made and the add-in-card partners are now awaiting the first batch of the SUPER series cards. At this point, for both, it appears the focus is moving old inventory in order to make room the next round of graphics cards.

Sounds normal to me that if you refresh your line up you stop making the old models,

I read different leaks/guesses as to what the new cards will cost, I doubt prices will go down but that new ones may slot in in the old models price point but not holding my breath

Pretty much what I heard too in other rumor/leaks. I can't remember but I think there have been other refreshes that launched at the previous price points so it is a possibility.

As much as I loathe the name, the 4070 Ti SUPER looks to me to be the best in the bunch for someone looking for mid-high-end, but it all comes down to the price.

I wouldn’t hate the 4080super at 999. Which, of course, means they are going to price it at 1299
