there have been restrictions on Nvidia shipping GPU's to China for like 6-7 years now. Due to the mining craze and Nvidia thinking it was a good idea to send container loads of GPU packages to mining farms. Has nothing to do with who is currently in office. China and Nvidia f'd themselves. You know what if it wasnt for the political crap shoot in US leadership the Nvidia lau. B would look even worse. Right how with the flow of stupid coming from the US presidency this just seems normal.
What I meant was Nvidia's repeated launch failures and driver update debacle seems like small fries with a president actively trying to slip stuff through the cracks.there have been restrictions on Nvidia shipping GPU's to China for like 6-7 years now. "H" series chips were recently restricted by DJT, but that's not effecting gaming GPU's.
When you figure nvidias gaming division alone is pulling fortune 500 income numbers... it feels silly to throw that away.Someone on the TechPowerUp forums mentioned that NVIDIA is just so focused on its AI/enterprise products that it's basically moved all but the bare minimum of its staff to those divisions. I'm sure we've said similar things here. At this point there's probably one or two guys and a monkey left in the gaming division and the monkey is calling the shots.
