NVIDIA RTX 50 SUPER Series Might Debut at CES 26, Launch Between March-May, and Has Been Spotted on the Seasonic Website

I have a hard time believing the RTX50 super series could come at a later date. The memory debacle is not going to get better anytime soon, at least not in 2026
Oh it'll "arrive".

All 18 super-influencers will get three different versions of the cards. Six of those influencers will proceed to destructively tear down the cards, shoot them with rifles, or catch them on fire... for "clicks". Three influencers will give their cards away in some sort of sweepstakes.

There will be an addition five cards available to purchase world-wide.

You know, just like every big release.

Couldn't agree with you both more. I've felt the same for a while now, another paper release until there's enough supply to counter scalpers but I think that will mostly be true for the 5070 Ti SUPER, the 5080 SUPER is kind of a wash unless it gets a more drastic upgrade which isn't likely since the die is supposedly already maxed. Folks eyeing the 5070 will be in for a treat, when they can get it and I believe it might, might, have slightly higher production volumes than the Ti SUPER but I admit that's a wild guess.

I'd say it could happen if it were not for the RAM debacle, but never say never. I basically already have one in my laptop except some very, very, slightly lower core counts and can vouch that the 5080 uses it when it can. It's kind of stupid that NV didn't segment the 5080 more out of the gate with 24 GB but they probably already new what was going to happen. Too me 5070 Ti 16 GB, 5080 24 GB, and 5090 32 GB would've made more sense. It just looks right too, not that it matters on that level.

I'm speculating that they positioned the 5080 to provide the ability to run ultra levels of settings at 1440P where 16 GB is plenty. I run everything at max on mine and have never hit a VRAM limit. Can it do 4K? Yeah, no doubt, but there may be some limitations.

Right now 1440P is the fastest growing resolution segment.

It's rare and I haven't had the time to test a lot of games yet but I have seen a few games hitting the 18 GB mark at 1440p. Usually requires extreme settings to get there with RT and everything else maxed plus MFG x3. However, like I said and we all know, 16 GB is still plenty for most games at 1440p and regardless GPUs will try to use what they can so if more is available, at least for this GPU, it can help.

Minor update that slipped through the cracks amid all the other announcements. No SUPER debut at CES but updates to arrive later.
