NVIDIA shared an article today teasing what its next GeForce Game Ready driver will bring to gamers when it releases on January 14.



In addition to support for God of War, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction, Hitman III, The Anacrusis, GRIT, and Monster Hunter Rise, the driver will also introduce a brand-new feature called DLDSR (Deep Learning Dynamic Super Resolution). So some sort of "inverse" DLSS where you downscale instead of upscale.
I think this was the principle of the now defunct DLSS 4x

Super Sampling has been the holy grail of IQ but its a performance killer even in older games. If this gets you better IQ at comparable performance, might be worth a shot.
