The game is already receiving favorable comparisons to Armored Core and Ace Combat for its visual design elements and gameplay. Surume Koubou has also said that its controls are similar to most FPS and TPS so that players can jump right in without needing to learn new layouts.

I like what I've seen so far. Also reminds me of Omega Boost which was one of my favorite PS1 titles back in the day and also got compared to AC.
